The Mexican Civil Council for Sustainable Forestry (CCMSS) is a nonprofit organization which has sought to contribute to the watershed’s health through the implementation of an integrated landscape management strategy based on:
• Participatory landscape planning
• Development of community policies regarding land use and natural resources management
• Multi-purpose management strategies • Sustainable productive Systems
• Community governance improvement • Strengthening the social capital.
